I don't think these display issues are easy to fix. Mastodon just doesn't allow you to set the name on an ActivityPub object. This means that the title will be messed up when displayed on FediBB.

How to do better layouting for these usecases is something, the community will have to invest energy in.

@helge @main I think for now the title would have to be derived from the content somehow.

But it would be nice if @Mastodon could allow specifying a name or a headline for (1) compatibility but also (2) to stop people from using content warnings as subject fields.
